YT-DLite supports a wide range of formats including MP4, MKV, WebM, AVI, GIF for video, and MP3, WAV, M4A, and more for audio.
yt-dlite is built to handle tough jobs—much like an excavator digging deep to extract valuable materials. It operates reliably even on slower internet connections, down to 0.04 Mbps, and performs heavy tasks like downloading large files or full playlists with precision.
In more favorable conditions, yt-dlite behaves like a jet: fast, sleek, and efficient—downloading, converting, and managing media at high speed with expert-level control for advanced users.
However, when internet speeds drop significantly below 0.01 Mbps, for long time particularly during large or long downloads, when using GUI you may occasionally encounter a temporary freeze(yt-dlite stucking) due to thread delay. This is false positive that can usually be resolved by restarting the application. To do so, just cancel if fails, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, locate "yt-dlite," right-click it, and select "End Task." Then, reopen the app to continue from where you left off.
Don’t worry—yt-dlite automatically remembers all your downloads, including incomplete ones. As we continue to evolve, future versions will be optimized to perform even under ultra-low speeds—as low as 0.00001 Mbps—with even greater stability and reliability.
